Info on August Speaker: Bruce Fortner,  Vice President BB&T Bank

 
Bruce Fortner is a Vice President with BB&T Bank currently serving as Community Business Development Officer for North Texas.  His position with the bank affords him the ability to work with small and medium sized businesses in and around North Texas to help build their capacity by showing them techniques to access greater capital and making their business more financially sound.  With over 15 years of financial banking experience in the Dallas, Mr. Fortner is uniquely positioned to bring greater insights to those business owners looking to add strategies to make themselves more attractive to banks other lenders and investors. 

He has previous experience with Bank of America where he served as a Banking Center Manager and Market Performance Manager for the North Texas…as well as Sr. Group Operations Manager for their Regulatory Default Servicing Department.  He is originally from New Orleans La. And currently lives in Lancaster TX with his wife and daughter.​
